Test Planner

Location: 1) Nellis AFB, NV; 2) Peterson SFP, CO ; 3) Naval Air Station, Fallon, NV; 4) Crystal City, VA

S2Technologies is seeking a qualified Test Planner to support Joint Tests (JTs) and Quick Reaction Tests (QRTs). The planner will aid in developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), Concepts of Operations, and other documents used DoD-wide to solve challenging warfighter problems, to enhance system interoperability, suitability, survivability, lethality (as applicable), and effectiveness.

Key functions include:

  • Developing detailed Test Plans for each test event that result in optimal data collection to address operational issues
  • Providing test planning services to the Team Lead related to the aspects of test planning, test article development, test conduct, data collection, data analysis, and reporting.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Bachelors of Science degree
  • 12 years of experience planning at the operational level
  • Strong writing and speaking skills; experience working in a diverse group of coworkers and community of interest
  • Thorough understanding of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle
  • Experience participating in test venue planning conferences (concept development, initial/mid/final planning, master scenario events list development)
  • Staff Action Officer experience within a Military Service or Joint environment
  • Experience coordinating participating unit test requirements with exercise host
  • Experience developing supporting plans for participating units
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Candidate must possess a current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
