Logistics and Samples Support

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Logistics and Samples Support role will work with the Logistics and Samples teams to process orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our leading food and beverage customers. We require a hands-on performer who can assist with the day-to-day and the multiple job functions of this position. The ideal candidate will understand transportation of goods and an understanding of Microsoft based systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Processing customer samples through internal systems (Microsoft Nav Dynamics)
2. Partner with Logistics team to ensure orders are shipped correctly to meet the customers’ requirements.
3. Process outgoing orders through internal systems (Microsoft Nav Dynamics)
4. Prepare customer orders for warehouse processing – Truckload/ LTL/Parcel
5. Process samples orders through internal systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
2. Bachelors’ degree in logistics or business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Logistics certification is a plus, but not required.
3. Strong customer service skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
7. Willingness to be flexible and handle tasks as needed.
8. Ability to lift up to 55lbs.

$45,000 - $50,000 per year

Full-time (On-site)

8PM to 5PM schedule

Reports to Outbound Supervisor

MUST have experience in logistics
