Salary: $85,000 - $94,000 based on experience
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Electrical Engineer turns projects into realities using experience in electrical power systems, pneumatic power systems, hydraulic power systems, and industrial controls design.
TOP 5 RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design Electrical and Fluid Controls systems
- Design Accurately to Applicable industrial and safety standards
- Leads project team for larger projects
- Maintains project budgets
- Gather project information
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Design electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic controls systems for industrial automation
- Responsible for selecting hardware, producing BOM and oversight of panel fabrication
- Network and Fieldbus design
- Responsible for the overall quality-of-design and design documentation as it relates to automation controls
- Apply industry-accepted engineering practices and methodology toward the successful completion of design deliverables
- Experience with any of the following would be a plus
- Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, and Siemens
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and take a project from start to finish
- Develop project-specific scope-of-design and design deliverables in alignment with the Project Scope and the needs of the customer
- Capable of designing system architecture for machine control systems, including electrical schematics and network diagrams
- Work within an engineering team to design custom automated equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 8 to 10 years of practical, applied engineering design experience relating to industrial equipment
- Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid understanding of industrial automation with knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience using design software (Autodesk products or equivalent)
- Proficient with MS Office Products
- Must be a self-starter, work well with others, and have a positive attitude
- Must be a creative thinker, results-oriented focused, and attentive to detail, accuracy
