Caregiver

Job Summary:
Vertical Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at our Bedford, IN location. The Caregiver will provide support and assistance to individuals in their home who are unable to care for themselves due to illness, injury, or aging. This is a part-time, hourly position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Caregiver position offers a competitive hourly rate of $12 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly. Our company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
• Monitor client's condition and report any changes to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and compassionate nature.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
