We are seeking a talented and dedicated Assistant General Manager to help lead the team at an Upscale Steak & Seafood restaurant. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring impeccable service, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding our commitment to culinary excellence.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including guest services, food and beverage quality, staff management, and financial performance.
  • Lead by example and maintain a strong presence on the floor, ensuring seamless service, attention to detail, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Monitor and maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation, ensuring compliance with local health regulations and internal policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns, handling them with the utmost care and attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost control, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:


  • At least 2+ years of senior level management experience in an upscale / fine dining establishment
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced and sophisticated environment.
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation for upscale dining etiquette, wines, and culinary techniques, with a commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of the dining experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests, team members, and stakeholders in a polished and professional manner.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and financial analysis.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs, and handling guest inquiries and concerns with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with restaurant management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
