Job Summary

Senior Helpers in Portland/ Vancouver is looking for a Skilled and Passionate Weekend Caregiver to provide in-home care for one of our clients in Damascus, OR. In-Home care brings so much joy to our clients and caregivers, for our clients they get to stay in a home they are familiar with while promoting independence and improving their quality of life! For our caregivers we understand the importance of building a bond and creating a person-centered care approach, unlike the fast pace environment you might be use to, Here at Senior Helpers you be able to create a schedule that works for you, while caring for one client at a time!

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with simple everyday activities such as bathing, grooming and meal prep and eating
•  Stand by assist with ambulation and transfers
• Follow the care plan provided and document any changes of conditions
• Provide light housekeeping, such as dusting, sweeping, doing laundry, or taking out the garbage

Scheduled Shift

Every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM- 3:30 PM

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• A compassionate and caring attitude
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check
