Responsibilities:
- Drill, tap and ream wide selection of sizes of holes by hand, using drill blocks/bushings, and magnetic drills.
- Identify and inventory commercial components for a given job by detail number/quantity using BOM for reference.
- Apply stencils, tags, signage, scribe identification markings using hand scriber (free hand), metal stamp sets (punches), and mechanical scribing machines.
- Locate and install, using common hardware, full range of lower precision fabricated and commercial components (+/-1/8" to 1/16" typical tolerance) such as:
- Casters
- Floor locks
- Toe tongues/Toe bars
- Swing gates
- Slider panels
- Handrail sections
- Stairways
- Weldment sections
- Perform paint touch ups and striping, apply non-slip coatings/tape.
