New Car Prep Lot Attendant

Bowser Automotive is seeking a New Car Detail Lot Attendant to verify receipt of new vehicles delivered to the dealership, inventory vehicles, manage the key track system while answering all calls for the Detail Department.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Answer phones in a courteous manner.
• Verify serial numbers against invoices for new vehicle deliveries.
• Remove protective product from new vehicles that arrive on the property
• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice such as spare tires, radio, etc.
• Manage the Key Track system ensuring that keys are returned and not lost
• Record description of damages and list missing items on delivery receipt.
• Assign stock control numbers to cars, catalog and store keys.
• Coordinate with lot regarding dealer trade vehicles that need to be pulled.
• Answer all calls to the Detail Department assisting Sales staff as appropriate (i.e. provide status of vehicles sold)
• Inform detail personnel of any vehicle delivery changes or other pertinent information.
• Maintain organization of the Detail Lot office.
• Assist in special projects as directed by Detail Manager.

Education and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Good judgment.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing/bending/stooping/walking no more than 8 hours per work day.
• Ability to work in wet environment.
• Ability to lift no more than 50 lbs. at a time.
