Job Description
VCS is looking for the Forklift Operator at Plymouth, IN for one of our client. Earn Gift Cards up to $250 every Month
Pay Rate:
Shift 1: $19/ per hour
Shift 2: $20/ per hour
Shift 3: $20/ per hour
Attendance/Performance Appreciation: Up to $250/Month as Gift Cards (Non- Taxable)
Shift:
-1st shift: 7:00 AM-3:30PM
- 2nd shift: 3:00PM-11:30PM
- periodically work a split shift 10AM-6:30PM
**Should be flexible for all shifts during training, then will be assigned a specific shift**
Work schedule is subject to change based on the season and business need. Willingness to be flexible with scheduling will be crucial as it is subject to change.
Weekly Schedule : 40 hours + OT - 6 days
Start Date: Upon completion of HR Clearances
End date: 01/31/2025 (extendable)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.
- Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift
- Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS. Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.
- Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning)
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
- During the seed delivery and return season: ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of forklift experience (sit down for lift)
- 1 year of warehouse experience
- Prior forklift certification is preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings
- Should be flexible for all shifts during training, then will be assigned.
- Preferred 1 year experience - sit down for lift
