Staff Accountant

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to join our successful theater team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Verify the accuracy of financial transactions and recommend corrective actions if necessary.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Facilitate accounts receivable and payable.

• Manage the payroll process through iSolved.

• Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls and identify areas of improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.

• Assist in tax preparation and compliance activities.

• Stay updated with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Proven work experience as an Accountant.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Proficiency with Quickbooks Online

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
