Job Description
A. PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Oversees all maintenance activities for all plants.
* Oversees scheduled, preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plants.
* Manages maintenance request system on items related to Maintenance Department.
* Oversee replacement parts ordering and control.
* Responsible for documenting maintenance procedures in accordance with TS procedures.
* Responsible for training, review and disciplinary activities with all maintenance staff.
* Active participant in ISO/TS, safety and suggestion committee meetings.
* Lead Maintenance Area Vital Signs meetings.
* Participate in plant area vital sign meetings as needed.
* Act as project lead on capital projects as needed.
B. OTHER: (e.g. authorizations, authority to issue directives, information rights):
* Participates in housekeeping/5S initiatives.
* Adheres to RMF procedure for confined space entry and lockout/tagout.
C. QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Advocates and supports the Management System Policy
* Advocates and supports the Quality and Environmental Objectives
D. DUTIES NOT TO BE CARRIED OUT:
E. WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS: (only those actually necessary for the position)
* Computer skills - both Microsoft and Rockwell.
* Electrical distribution and controls.
F. KEY MEASURABLES:
* WCRSA compliance
* OSHA Audits
* Vital Signs at all machines - issues relating to downtime and efficiency.
* Housekeeping/5S
* Safety
G. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
1. Education:
● High School
2. Experience:
● 3 Years maintenance experience
3. Knowledge and skills:
● Computer skills, conversion from US to metric
● Electrical, welding, general plant maintenance
