Position Description:
Delta College of Arts and Technology is seeking a motivated and highly student-oriented LPN or Medical Assistant to join our team as a Medical Assistant Instructor for our Covington Campus. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a Doctor's Office, and at least four years of experience in a related healthcare field. This is a full-time, day shift position with at least 32 hours per week and weekends and holidays off. The college offers training for all faculty staff and a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time staff. This could be a terrific opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with our students training to become Medical Assistants.
Requirements:
AOS or higher in Medical Assistant or comparable Healthcare field of study required;
Minimum of four (4) years of practical experience;
Proficient with MS Word and Excel.Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. We provide all educational materials, syllabi, lesson plans tests, and classroom training.Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
