Calibration Technician

The Calibration Technician tests, calibrates, maintains, and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments, and equipment for conformance to established standards.  The Calibration Technician also assists other departments with troubleshooting and repair of installed plant/process equipment.

·   Calibrate instruments and equipment.

·   Maintain accurate calibration records.

·   Troubleshoot instruments and equipment.

·   Repair instruments and equipment

·   Help set up laboratory and test equipment.

·   Work with vendors to order necessary services, supplies, and parts for repair.

·   Perform other related duties as required.

·   Be familiar with and understand all applicable MSDS’s and Emergency Action Plan EHS-G-002.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay.  The starting hourly base pay for this role is targeted to be between $24.00 - $28.00.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company.  It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.  We recognize that the person(s) we select for hire may be less experienced or more experienced than the role as posted; if this is the case, any updates to available salary ranges will be communicated with candidates during the recruitment process.
