Job Description
Embedded Software Engineer
You will provide embedded software support and maintenance for company products written in C++ and Java script.& & This position interfaces with company leaders as well as our technical support group.
& &
You will:
  • Create innovative tools to support and develop business needs.
  • Integrate internal and external software platforms to manage product orders, work orders, and customer needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for software built for the company.
  • Project manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Continually improve current programs and develop new programs based on business development needs and customer requirements.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or other related field preferred.
  • 7+ years professional experience, extensively with C/C++ embedded software at a high level of proficiency.
  • Experience with communications equipment highly preferred
  • Software optimizations skills at the System on a Chip (SoC) level.
  • Strong knowledge of RTOS, microcontrollers, and microprocessors
  • Operate with a security and reliability-first mindset.
  • Have the skills to create simple solutions for complex problems quickly; often benefiting from tried-and-true techniques.
  • Put user value before tech, learn quickly, work iteratively and naturally seek collaboration.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, including being able to apply a methodical approach to problem resolution.
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarization with data repositories.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Internal drive for project completion and making a difference.
