Key Result Area:
Support manufacturing facilities on system controls, electrical and projects. Support all locations maintenance teams to ensure a smooth-running operation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
- Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
- Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
- Maintain preventive maintenance in accordance with a daily checklist and adjustments to the plant equipment and machinery,
- Perform mechanical repairs on batching equipment, unloading equipment, rolling stock and company vehicles,
- Perform all mechanical and electrical tasks,
- Validate PLC program logic. Change logic as required to make perfect pallets
- Fabrication and welding as needed for production and special projects.
- Perform routine maintenance within the site (changing light bulbs, ballast, etc.),
- Perform minor construction repairs, valve replacements, outlets changed,
- Perform plumbing repairs,
- Perform major electrical tasks including electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and electrical repairs,
- Complete work orders and various other tracking devices,
- Responsible for housekeeping throughout plant’s areas,
- Adhered to safety and operational practices,
- Ability to work with Teams and alone,
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures
- Able to work any shift
- Travel ask required to all locations
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Able to perform and understands LOTO processes and ensure the optimal procedures are followed for meeting company’s objectives.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED),5+ years mechanical and electrical experience, Experienced in PLCs.
Required Skills:
- Strong mechanical background
- Strong Electrical background
- High level of organizational skills
- Able to work at heights and possible heavy lifting.
- Can read and understand directions and goals set forth by the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor,
- Capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses.
