Location: Russellville, AL

FULL TIME POSITION-HIRING IMMEDIATELY

PAY RATE: $17.00/hour -$18.00/hour BASED ON EXPERIENCE

SHIFT TIME: 5am- 3:30pm MON-THURS (Some overtime may be required)

The Liquid Painter safely performs paint surface preparation as needed. Safely applies Industrial 2 part (2 K) Liquid paints onto any and all products manufactured and scheduled to be coated in the liquid paint booth. Liquid painter must have the willingness to be cross trained in other Coating Operation areas as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.

Experience:

• Understands all Safety and Environmental regulations / safety concerns with the use of Industrial Liquid Pretreatment Chemicals, Industrial paints, including the grounding and bonding process while liquid painting occurs.
• Familiar with use of Respirators and or Fresh Air Paint hoods.
• Mixing plural (2K) Industrial paints at specific ratios
• Ability to Read Pretreatment & Paint Safety data sheets and technical data sheets.
• Experience with liquid spray guns and the ability to produce a quality industrial finish with paint gun.
• Experience with Paint Pots, Paint hoses, paint guns and general painting equipment.
• Ability to read paint specification and mix 2 K paint in specified ratios.
• Track Paint and solvent usage and ability to document.

Education:

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Trade School
• OTJ paint experience
