Job Description

Uses special imaging equipment to perform diagnostic tests and examinations to help determine a patients diagnosis and treatment options in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Pender Community Hospital. Ideal candidate would be certified or cross trained in any of the following modalities: CT, Dexa scans, Ultrasound, MRI, and Mammography.

Hours: Minimum 18 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm, rotating weekends and on-call



Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations

  • Licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

  • Ability to work with skill in identifying problems
  • Ability to navigate Word, Excel and other computer programs
