Licensed Practical Nurse

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for one of our clients in Sikeston, MO.

Job Description:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) –This position requires the ability to apply practical nursing principles in the care of persons with physical or mental illness, developmental and/or physical disabilities.
• LPNs must possess knowledge of current nursing principles, theories, practices, and techniques.
• LPNs are accountable for administering medication and other prescribed treatments; assisting with care plan activities; observing and reporting consumer conditions and behaviors; and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of current nursing theory, practices, and techniques. Skill in applying practical nursing principles in the care of persons with physical or mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the geriatric population. Ability to work assigned schedule which may include a variety of shifts, weekends, holidays, and/or required overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse and CPR from AHA.

Shift Timing:               

• Sunday to Thursday 03:00 Pm to Mid Night
