Position: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd or 3rd

$22 - $25 + Healthcare, Dental, Vision

Location: South Pittsburg, TN

Aegis worldwide is partnering with a Foundry The Mechanical Technician position entails executing all tasks associated with the upkeep of mechanical equipment. This includes but is not limited to power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other mechanical systems. All work is expected to be completed while following all safety policies and procedures, in a timely manner while providing high quality craftsmanship.  

Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety policies, training, and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance inspections of mechanical systems and report abnormalities or issues.
• Promptly report significant abnormalities to prevent harm, downtime, or equipment damage.
• Utilize equipment manuals for machine setup, adjustments, and repairs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute repairs efficiently.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of Maintenance Experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to work in a team-based environment.
• Willingness to attend training for complex equipment knowledge.
• Ability to use common mechanical tools.
