Construction Site Superintendent

Vision Construction & Consulting, Inc. is Seeking Construction Lead Superintendent with 10 years of experience in Commercial Construction. Candidate must posses 30-hour OSHA card, AED, CPR and First Aid training from a nationally recognized program. 10+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial projects for large national accounts is preferred. Solid proficiency in blueprint & specification reading. Job Site document control to include but not limited to JHA’s, Hot Work, work ticket tracking, tool box talks etc. Candidate must have understanding of all building systems, scheduling & coordinating contractors within an accelerated project timeline. Proficient with all Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of project management software (Prolog, Procore, etc. knowledge of Newforma is a plus), project scheduling software (MS Project).

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a safe OSHA compliant job site!

2. Understand all safety requirements for the project and direct compliance of all contractors.

3. Review and analyze all project contract documents including drawings, specifications, submittals, environmental and other documents for a complete understanding of the scope of work.

4. Maintain project schedule, provide bi-weekly updates to PM and 2 week look ahead.

5. Weekly Project Contractor Meetings - Create agenda, facilitate weekly construction coordination meetings with contractors, take minutes & distribute to contractors.

6. Review required submittals for compliance and accuracy of contractors installed work.

7. Track & log all contractor activities on a daily basis and provide daily reports in project software.

8. Photo document work progress on a daily basis to include in daily reports.

9. Determine legitimacy of change requests by contractors and process to PM.

10. Process RFI’s from contractors.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial construction

2. Ability to learn policies & procedures quickly

3. MUST BE Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point

4. OSHA 10 HR Certified.

5. Must be proficient in blue print reading & interpretation of all contract documents to include, sub-contracts, blue prints, specification manuals, addenda, submittals, RFI's etc.

6. Knowledge of scheduling & project management software, i.e. Newforma, Procore, Prolog or similar.

7. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with owners/representatives and trade subcontractors to clarify scopes as written.

8. Professional conduct is required.

9.Must pass drug and back ground test

10. Valid driver's license.
