Job Description
Delivery Vehicle and Equipment is picked up in Auburn, WA and deliveries are made in the Seattle area.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Drivers make 20+ stops per hour
- Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages from warehouse to destination
- Load shipments into company delivery vehicle
- Perform frequent lifting of packages (up to 150+ pounds)
- Inspect delivery vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit a Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each shift
- Safely operate and navigate a delivery van for up to 10 hours, making deliveries in all weather conditions
- Perform all steps to a successful delivery so that Road Runner Delivery is able to keep its promise to customers (100% on time service and delivery)
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work one weekend day
- Valid Driver's License with fewer than 2 accidents/tickets/infractions in last 3 years
- Ability to meet DOT regulations and guidelines pertaining to the physical qualifications for commercial drivers.
