Pharmacy Technician

Seeking pharmacy technicians for a Retail Community Pharmacy in Avalon, CA (On Catalina Island). On-site job starts out as temp, but if you require permanent immediately, let us know. Otherwise, it’s possible you will receive a permanent job offer, at some point. Other staffing assignments of variable length (from PRN, to contract, to permanent offers) may occur after this assignment is over.

A boat ride and Hotel are included.

Schedule Details:
- up to full-time

- Client pharmacy's normal hours are Monday thru Friday, 9:00a to 6:00p

- If you can’t work full-time, tell us what days/hours you can/cannot work through the end of the year.

Job Functions
- Pharmacy Technician will prepare medications with accuracy and efficiency
- Pharmacy Technician will comply with all Company, State, and Federal regulations and requirements

Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technicians will show their current license in the state of practice, with no restrictions.

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must have a high school diploma or a GED
• Must have either completed a formal Board-approved pharmacy technician training program or completed an on-the-job pharmacy technician training program that is Board-approved or evidence of pharmacy technician training provided by a branch of a federal armed service.
• Show proof of passing a Board-approved national examination
• Show proof of completing four hours of AIDS education
• Submit answers for background checks
