Azure Cloud Engineer

Looking for a talented individual who can contribute their skills and expertise to our cloud initiatives and help us achieve new heights of success. Our client is currently seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team and provide support in our Azure cloud computing environment. This role will involve supporting and optimizing the entire Azure environment to ensure ongoing operational excellence. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and managing our business-critical systems and applications in the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, infrastructure engineers, and application owners, to develop and execute and support IT strategies.

Qualifications

• SOLID Azure experience with Certifications – Needs to hit the ground running – 3+ years’ experience, 6+ in IT overall
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise level, mission- critical applications resolving complex issues/situations and driving technical resolution across cross-functional organizations
• Proven experience (~ 2 years) with Azure cloud platform design, administration, and support
• Solid understanding of Azure architecture and services, such as Virtual Machines, Group Policy, MFA, Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Azure Regions, Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, Azure Savings Plans and pricing models.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Automation
• Experience with ITSM tools, especially Service Now
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• 8+ years of demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-level, mission-critical applications resolving complex issues/situations, and driving technical resolution across cross-functional organizations
• Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source)
• One or more of the following Microsoft Azure Certifications:
  • Azure Fundamentals - AZ-900
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator – AZ-104
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert – AZ-305
  • Azure Data Fundamentals - DP-900
  • Azure Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals - SC-900
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate - AZ-500
