Join our team as a Laboratory Supervisor/Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in processing cord blood and placental tissues for a leading global player in the tissue storage industry. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the forefront of medical research and cellular therapy.
Responsibilities:
Process and Store Cord Blood and Tissues with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to industry standards.
Collaborate with Senior Staff to refine and optimize processes, procedures, and quality control measures.
Lead the hiring and training initiatives for laboratory staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Skills:
Clinical Expertise: Bring 7+ years of comprehensive experience in clinical blood bank laboratory operations, encompassing processing, testing, storage, and release protocols. Additionally, demonstrate proficiency in cellular therapy (stem cell) laboratory procedures.
People Management: Possess a track record of effective leadership with 3+ years of experience in managing laboratory staff. Your ability to mentor and develop talent will be essential to our team's success.
Regulatory Compliance: Navigate regulatory frameworks with ease, ensuring all technical aspects of tissue bank operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Quality Control Mastery: Implement robust quality control management systems and procedures to uphold the highest standards of sample integrity and accuracy.
Process Validation: Oversee the validation of laboratories, processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure reliability and reproducibility.
Communication Skills: Excel in both verbal and written communication, facilitating effective collaboration with regulatory agencies, certification authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Certification: Hold current certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or equivalent. ASCP certification is strongly preferred.
