Business Analyst

Business Analyst (South Jordan, UT and unanticipated client sites across the US). Must be willing to travel and/or relocate domestically. 1 opening, Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week. Job description: identification and analysis of a business need and development of one or more alternative business solutions by gathering, analyzing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements the business analyst is responsible for the translation of the business requirements into system requirements, which describe what the system, process, or product must do to fulfill the business requirements; develops and presents artifacts describing the business requirements including, as appropriate: presentations and charts, process flows, data models, use cases, other requirements documents as appropriate to document and communicate the requirements; hands on experience with jira, agile framework, oracle, java, etc; evaluating and analyzing business changes and working with system users and it staff to identify solutions, implement these changes, and identify the system impacts; provides factual content, analysis and other information to guide development projects and enhancements activities; maintain and encourage compliance with any appropriate standards and guidance to ensure that the project provides full traceability from concept to delivery; collaboration with different teams, engage application owner, product owners and operation team throughout the project, multi-team co-ordination; develop effective, object oriented programs/modules that adhere to established requirements and conform to detailed design specifications; support assigned systems with on-call availability and respond within agreed upon time frames perform other relevant duties based upon experience to fulfill customer needs.
