Position Summary: This position will generate business value by combining depth and breadth of expertise in value-based care, technical knowledge and experience analyzing healthcare data with exceptional communication skills to support current programs. The position will be responsible for collecting data from various operating and financial platforms within the company, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data and developing reporting frameworks. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information to drive strategic business decisions. This position encompasses a comprehensive analysis lifecycle, covering requirement gathering, activity execution, and design planning. The analyst will be expected to enhance analytical and reporting functions while considering performance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas for improvement. To do well in this role the analyst will need to be detail oriented and have experience with various data analysis tools and databases.

Essential Duties:

  • Gather data from primary and secondary sources, identify/address missing values and ensure the accuracy and relevance of data used for analysis.
  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including identifying data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Utilize various statistical tools to detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within datasets.
  • Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with the management team to determine and rank the needs of different business units and align informational priorities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders. Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.
  • Identify opportunities for better outcomes and enhanced performance in value-based care programs, focusing on financial data and statistical data to develop and improve organizational goals.
  • Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.
  • Supporting the IT team in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Actively participates in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities
  • Maintain HIPPA compliance at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements & Competencies:

  • Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
  • Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills to handle multiple priorities while remaining professional and calm.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Successfully complete background check
  • Understanding of healthcare industry and homecare business operations is a plus.

Education Requirements: The following education requirements are considered essential:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related experience.
  • Two years data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with analytical software, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in evaluating healthcare value based and risk arrangements preferred.
