Job Description:

About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Strategy is a high impact enterprise role responsible for leading enterprise/ business strategic initiatives, developing actionable insights leveraging market/ financial data, and partnering with cross-functional business leaders in collaboration with the VP of Strategy. This role will be aligned around one of Treehouse’s strategic pillars – building Platform Depth.

This is a high-visibility role that will offer substantial leadership exposure at THS and the opportunity to drive long-term shareholder value by supporting TreeHouse corporate and functional initiatives related to strategy development, strategic planning and strategy execution.

• Support development of platform/ category specific strategic plans that deliver against multiyear objectives
• Lead development of best-in-class frameworks and market/ operational/ financial analyses to execute against enterprise/ business priority initiatives
• Directly manage Analysts to execute against priority project objectives and coach them to achieve their annual professional growth goals through effective people leadership skills
• Partner with division or functional leadership teams on strategic initiatives, annual planning, and key business analysis
• Identify emerging industry and marketplace trends; synthesize to key insights and communicate implications to TreeHouse leadership
• Build relationships across senior and division-level leadership to drive acceptance and adoption of key strategic and analytical priorities
• Oversee the synthesis of internal, syndicated market data & external consumer/ market insights to support corporate projects, due diligence of potential acquisition targets, 3-year planning process, and opportunity identification
• Provide content and prepare presentations for core corporate communications (e.g., quarterly earnings call, Board of Directors letter, Investor Relations presentation)
• Closely partner with GMs/ business units in leading critical strategic initiatives
• Develop capabilities within the Strategy function to better support organizational priorities

About You:

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience at a top tier consulting firm within the CPG/ retail industry or similar experience in a corporate CPG environment
• Experience within CPG/ retail industry and proficient in analyzing market data assets (e.g. Circana/ Nielsen POS & Panel), conducting granular and data-driven market analysis, and building financial / analytical models to facilitate analytical problem solving
• Ability to develop a cohesive ‘story’ to communicate key recommendations/ actions by leveraging disparate data points/ learnings, and to effectively communicate to key stakeholders
• Experience managing analysts to deliver against project objectives in a timely manner with high quality, while demonstrating strong people leadership skills
• Experience working with senior leaders in communicating key recommendations/ actions to drive against business objectives
• Ability to work collaboratively & effectively with cross-functional leaders and their teams
• A proactive style and action-oriented approach; Demonstrate a high degree of intellectual curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for problem solving
• Proficiency with CPG industry specific analytical tools (e.g. Pricing/ Promotions, Shelf Assortment)
• Bachelors Required
