Here at Amazon Ads Brand Innovation Lab, we are looking for a seasoned UX Designer to join us as we streamline innovations which have been incubated and are now ready to become products, widely available to our end-customers. In this role, you will be making what was previously custom and complex seem simple. You’ll be involved in all aspects of product development, working collaboratively with user research, engineering, and product management to bring it to life.In the UXD role on our team you will be responsible for scaling what was previously custom through solid design deliverables such as complex workflows, wireframes, user interface designs, interaction models, prototypes and shipping product. You have a comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technology and best practices, with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design and functionality. You will additionally be responsible for identifying improvements in cross-team project and process improvements and methods that improve delivery efficiency. You are detail-oriented, comfortable working on technical teams, skilled in using data to make decisions and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities* Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities.* Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.* Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.* Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.* Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization. * Improve design patterns, standards, methods, and processes.* Work closely with engineering to effectively incorporate capabilities and constraints of the technology stack.* Apply best design practices to arrive at the right customer outcome. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market.
