Description:

The Training coordinator plays a key role in supporting EHS regulatory compliance, assisting with the training processes, and helping the training leads with employee training needs for the Gulf Area. The role partners with Operations to ensure training is completed, tracked, and documented.

• Ensure employees are trained to meet both Company and regulatory standards.

• Ensure regional training completions are entered into the Learning Management System (LMS) and provide accurate training status reports to regional locations/internal customers.

• Assist training leads to help terminals with the development of site specific procedures and coordinate Management of Change (MOC) system entries for procedural changes.

• Help update and manage each Terminal’s SharePoint portal;

• Interact with employees at all levels (including technical working groups) as necessary, to assist to review, discuss and resolve procedural questions, training gaps and/or inadequacies.

• Assist in internal/regulatory audits.

• Liaison between departments and internal customers for the development and modifications of operational and maintenance procedures

EXPERIENCE / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong computer skills and prior experience with Microsoft Office® Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)

• Prior experience in technical writing, reviewing and training of written procedures a plus

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Must have excellent communication (oral and written) skills, verbally and in writing.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

• Must be able to multi-task with multiple priorities and time frames

• Self-motivated, driven, and solution-oriented.

• Comfortable speaking with small and large groups and inspiring others.

• Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS) a plus.
