Currently seeking a Patient Admissions Representative to work on a part time/full time basis for a hospital system in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sitting at the front desk in Emergency Department and collecting payments, verifying insurance and collecting information.
  • Verify reason for visit, collect information, verify insurance and provide with customer support
  • Checking patients in and out

HOURS:

Mon - Friday/Weekends/Holidays 3p-11:30p & 11p-7:30a (Preferred flexibility with hours but open to someone on each shift and someone flexing.)

- Hours will be 24-40 hours per week PRN (those who are flexible to more hours have opportunity to gain up to 40)

- Shifts can be broken up in 3 8 hour shifts or 5 5 hour shifts (open to candidate availability)

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE experience with insurance verification and must be flexible to work the hours needed above.
