Surgical Scheduler - Part-time

Currently seeking a Medical Schedule who has had experience with high volume scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for seeing 50-60 patients per day
• Utilizing EPIC software to schedule patients for surgeries
• Handling all coming phone calls
• Will be getting pre-authorizations for insurance for patients before them come in for surgeries, appointments, check ups
• Will be calling doctor offices/hospitals for pre-op results
• Will be verifying insurance on a daily basis
• Must be very knowledgeable in insurance companies and the process
• Will be calling doctors and clinics to get medical records

Qualified candidates must meet CDC qualifications
