Assistant Plant Manager (Lugoff, SC)

SUMMARY:
Resource Employment Solutions has a client located in north central South Carolina with an immediate need for an Assistant Plant Manager. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a well-established, almost 30 years, manufacturer of customized metal products.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER:

• Coordinate daily activities of both production and operation teams.
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel.
• Place production orders from customers.
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS OF AN ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER:

• 7 – 10 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• SAP experience is a HUGE plus.

SHIFT/HOURS AND PAY OF AN ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER:

• 1st Shift, MON-THU, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm & FRI 7:00 – 12:00 pm.
• Salary - $70-$90K Based on experience.
