We are in search of a determined Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Major responsibilities
- Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
- Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
- Business license and gross receipts reporting
- Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
- Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
- Adept in credit card management and reconciliation
- Supply cash flow projections, as needed
- Register budget transfers
- Keep Accounts Payable up to date
- Extra unique tasks if required
- Operate monthly accounting close
- Direct Accounts Receivable- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping
- Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Quarterly Taxes experience highly desired
- Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Expertise in payroll
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
- 5+ years of related experience
