Qualifications

• 0 – 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting practices
• Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and SOX controls
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Position Functions

• Own all activities related to the accounts payable and drive continuous process improvement
• Responsible for daily customer invoicing and billing
• Perform 3-way match of PO’s, picklists, and invoices
• Code and enter matched invoices into ERP system
• Prepare weekly check runs, wires, etc.
• Assist with AR collections and cash application
• Create and maintain databases on activity conducted on all accounts
• Own prepaids, intercompany charges and accruals as a part of month-end close process (i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.)
• Support monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting cadence
• Support internal and external audit processes throughout the year
• Ad Hoc analysis and projects as needed
