School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• School Year: 2024-2025
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Caseload: K-8th grade

Requirements:

• Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for intervention and support services
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
• Assist in the implementation of school-wide programs and initiatives aimed at promoting positive mental health and well-being
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student evaluations, progress, and interventions
