Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities:

Receive and process a large volume of invoices daily via email.

Conduct 2-way matching to ensure accuracy of invoices and purchase orders.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.

Exercise sound judgment in resolving discrepancies and making payment decisions.

Maintain reliability and autonomy in managing workload independently.

Occasionally work overtime to meet deadlines and ensure tasks are completed effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts payable or related field preferred.

Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to make informed judgment calls to resolve payment discrepancies.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and processing.

Reliable and able to work independently to meet deadlines.

Willingness to occasionally work overtime as needed.

Located on-site in Oakland, TN.

100% on site - Oakland, TN

$22/hr - pay rate

6-month contract role

Must be willing to work overtime

Candidate will have to pass a drug, background, and 7 year credit check before starting
