Remote Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher

Soliant has partnered with school districts across the United States that are seeking teachers for deaf/hard of hearing students. Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
• Active State of Illinois issued Certification in Deaf Education
• Two years experience required
• Virtual experience preferred
• ASL fluency is preferred but not required

Position Details:

• Develop Annual Goals for the IEP
• plete reevaluation reports on munication Assessment
• Assess students' progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet their evolving needs.
• Provide consultation and training to parents and other stakeholders on how to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing at home and in the munity.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to ensure that instructional materials and environments are accessible to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Additional Requirements for Virtual Roles:

• fortable being an independent contractor (1099)
• Passed basic tech screening
• Must provide your own liability insurance and be fortable being an independent contractor
• Must have home puter with high internet speed
