Remote Speech Language Pathologist (Contractor)

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a remote contractor in California. In this role, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students enrolled in a home school independent study program. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with speech and language disorders.

Job Duties:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other members of the educational team to support students' munication goals.
- Provide case management services for a caseload of 29 students, including scheduling sessions, documenting progress, and municating with stakeholders.
- Utilize technology to deliver virtual therapy sessions, including setting up Zoom on students' Chromebooks and sending encrypted meeting links.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
- Current California state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SLP, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Experience working with students with diverse munication needs and disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.
- Access to reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace for virtual therapy sessions.

Additional Information:
- This is a .8 position, serving a caseload of 41 students with speech needs, including case management of 29 students.
- Students have Chromebooks, and IT support will assist in getting Zoom set up on the devices so the Independent Contractor can send encrypted meeting links.

pensation and Benefits:
- petitive weekly pay of $70/hour.
- Flexible schedule and the ability to work remotely from anywhere in California.
- As a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for obtaining your own insurance coverage.
