Job Description
Job Description: Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Clinton, LA. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students within a school setting. This is a full-time position contracted through the remainder of the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Work collaboratively with the educational team to support the individual needs of students.
- Provide direct support to students in individual or group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
- Current SLPA license or certification in the state of Louisiana.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
