Travel Medical Technologist in Milan, TN

Sunbelt staffing is looking for a travel Medical Technologist inMilan, Tennessee!

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a wide range of laboratory tests including hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.
2. Prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and storage to maintain sample integrity.
3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, troubleshooting any issues and performing routine maintenance as necessary.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
2. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
3. Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
