Onsite, Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) Opening Near Saugerties, NY

We are partnering with aschool in the Saugerties, New York area to find a part-time, onsite, contracted Physical Therapist (PT) for the remainder of the 2023/2024 school year. We are looking for a hard-working and knowledgeable candidate interested in helping students part-time in grades K - 12th.

Requirements:

• Must have a Masters or Doctoral Level Degree in Physical Therapy
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist New York License
• Must have previous school-based experience

Position Details:

• 04/22/2024 - 06/28/2024
• Part-time / 6 hours a week
• Caseload: K - 12th grade students, specific caseload details will be provided during the interview process
• Pay Range: $40 - $55 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluatestudents' physical abilities, limitations, and needs
• Design and implementindividualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs and goals.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective intervention strategies.
