Renowned Oncology Clinic with over three decades of excellence and specializing in Clinical Research/Trials, is looking for an In-Office Dispensing (IOD) Specialty Pharmacy Technician with a background in Oncology to join their dedicated staff in providing cutting-edge care to patients.

As an IOD Specialty Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include providing in-office dispensing of oral medications to patients, calculating doses, assisting patients with financial assistant programs, record keeping, maintaining inventory including ordering drugs, collect patient’s copayment, handle prior authorizations via CoverMyMeds, communicate with pharmacies and non-pharmacy LACN staff, including physicians.

Pay Rate Range: $24.00 -$28.00/hr. DOE
Shift: M-F – 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Location: Glendale, CA

Job Requirements for IOD Specialty Pharmacy Technician:

1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Oncology or Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred
California Certified Pharmacy Technician license
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Armenian is required
Experience with processing refills and dispensing
Experience with EMR system
