Summary

JOB SUMMARY: Facilitates improvement in the overall quality and completeness of medical record documentation and obtains appropriate documentation through extensive interactions with providers. Performs review of assigned cases with Maryland Hospital Acquired Conditions (MHACs) and ICD-10 code related Quality indicators.

REQUIREMENTS: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Education/Discipline: 5+ Years as a RN, PA, or MD 2-5 years as a CDI Certification: CDIP or CCDS. Experience: 5-7 years.

CERTIFICATIONS: Maryland Registered Nurse License, Physicians Assistant, Medical Doctor, CDIP or CCDS
