Endoscopy - Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required.

• 12 months of Endoscopy experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.

• Shift: Varied start time of 0630, 0700, and 0800.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40

• Weekend Hours: on call coverage

• Call Requirements: Yes. On-call is 2 overnights per month and 1-2 weekends in a 3 month block.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Intra procedure for endoscopy procedures, admit and recovery for endoscopic procedures including ERCP, Moderate sedation

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: At least 1 year of endoscopy procedural experience

• Type of Patients on Unit: Inpatient and outpatient

• Scrub Color: Any personal scrubs may be worn, MMC also provides blue hospital scrubs which are stocked in the department
