Emergency Department - Registered Nurse

Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of Emergency Department experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Candidates must live at least 40 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Medical declinations accepted.

Strong experience with Stroke, Sepsis, STEMI patients required.

This is a FAST-PACED, high patient acuity Emergency Department. Emergency Department can reach up to 220 Patient Volume ED/per day. Can see up to 20 stroke patients/per shift.

Float Requirements- float within department- ED Adult, Peds, IMC Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.

Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.

Must have minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working in an ED environment.

Demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.

Must have ED experience within the past six months.

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
