Operating Room - Registered Nurse - Full-time

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 12 months of Operating Room experience is required.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license in hand at the time of application.

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Days/Eves & Weekend Rotate. 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule; 1-2 rotations to Eves (1p-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule.

Call Requirement: 1 Holiday Call. 2-3 Weekday calls per 4-week schedule. 1-2 Weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekend shift will include Call. (Example: Working Sat. from 7a-5:30p, Call will be from 5:30p – 11p).

Rotating Shifts Required: Yes. Day Rotate requires rotation to 2-3 Eves per 4-week schedule. Weekend Rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule. Rotation is not required for Night shift.

Level II trauma OR; complex community setting.

Years of Experience Required: 1-2 years.

Skill Sets Required: Strong Ortho experience. Basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, multispecialty competence.

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric.

Census: approximately 30 - 40 patients per day.

Floating Required: No.

BSN preferred.

Scrub experience preferred.
