JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for maintaining a companywide purchasing/travel card program. Develop strong working relationships with staff at all levels across the company in order to promote and drive adoption of the card program. Define and deliver a training program supporting the program tools and processes. Oversee accounting controls, card issuance process control, record retention policy assurance and tax compliance administration.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of ongoing improvements to the card program in order to streamline and improve corporate card issuance and expense processing.
  • Educate customers on the proper use of the card, policy information, and changes to procedures.
  • Implement policy changes as needed and communicate to customers.
  • Design and deliver training programs related to the Corporate Card and any supporting software applications.
  • Analyze spend on card programs for trends and communicate to leadership potential changes as necessary.
  • Manage card accounts- set up and closing, revising limits and other controls.
  • Maintain desktop procedures and policy manual for card program.
  • Serve as the primary interface between Charter and the Corporate Card vendor regarding the card program, emerging technology, changes in the program, and any other issues.
  • Provide oversight of the online expense reporting system, and a full understanding of the system processes to make updates.
  • Develop and implement audit routines to ensure compliance with policy requirements.
  • Communicate audit issues/problems to management for resolution.
  • Provide reporting and metrics to illustrate the value of the program.
  • Handle security issues with discretion.

 
 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Accounting and Purchasing knowledge
  • Demonstrated interpersonal customer service skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills
  • Verbal and written training skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Excel

 
Required Education

  • Associates degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
     

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  • Card Program Administrator or equivalent - 1-3
      

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  • Experience in writing policies and procedures
  • Concur experience
