Position Title: Production
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd
QPS Employment Group has a great Production opportunity available at a company in Keosauqua, IA. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for inspecting parts, operating equipment for production of parts and to ensure meeting customer requirements. Will use various tools and techniques to conform to standard operating procedures and optimize program for efficient use of equipment and material.
- Responsible for blueprint interpretation and able to ensure quality products.
- Read work order instructions and perform work as assigned by work order sheet and supervisor.
- Installing components as stated in the work instructions using various equipment.
- Loads and unloads parts in a timely manner between machine cycles.
- Must be able to determine/obtain necessary tooling needed for work orders and perform any adjustments needed.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Must be able to inspect, organize, arrange, and place tubing in properly. Once the product is finished unload rack, inspect and place in proper bin.
- Conduct routine quality checks of finished product per instructions.
- Work as part of a team when needed.
Production Requirements:
- Must be able lift to up to 30-50lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to stand for entire 8-10 hours.
- Must be willing to work in a hot environment.
- This position involves grasping, pushing, bending, and pulling.
- Must be willing to be open to job rotation, machine operating, production.
- Must be able to read work orders and count products accurately.
- Must be familiar with basic hand tool functions.
