- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with the data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Develops and implements an effective warehouse layout that accounts for product flow, equipment, and product handling systems.
- Contributes to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews in order to achieve operational objectives. Resolves problems and identifies trends.
- Skills and Qualifications Required
- Ability to manage processes
- Ability to manage team members effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Basic computer literacy
- Data entry management
- Experience with warehouse safety protocols
- Deadline Orientated
- Forklift certified Driver
- Previous warehouse operations experience preferred
