WP Cabana Host

Cabana Hosts and Hostesses are responsible for creating a memorable experience for our guests. The Cabana Host Crew caters to the needs of our guests in the Standard, VIP and Castaway Cabanas during their time at Neptune Island. They are responsible for taking food and beverage orders, running orders, and maintaining the Neptune Island standard of service and cleanliness in our cabanas. Our Cabana Hosts have even been known to dress in costume during our special events, like our Labor Day Luau! Our Cabana Host Crew works closely with our Neptune’s Patio Crew to serve libations to our guests in their cabanas.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding guest service.
• Greets and escorts guests to their assigned cabanas in a timely manner.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of park offerings, including but not limited to food, beverage and other park related items and/or attractions
• Takes food/beverage orders and delivers guests’ their orders in a timely manner
• Maintains clean and neat work areas.
• Checks guests out using touch screen POS system in a timely manner.
• Cleans and restocks cabanas after guests cash-out.
• Checks cabanas and equipment on a regular basis to ensure nothing is damaged or broken and reports it to the appropriate personnel.
• Any other duties as assigned by management, supervisors or leads.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time with exposure to direct sunlight, hot temperatures and other inclement weather, including but not limited to: rain, storms, high winds, and cold temperatures.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull 25 pounds, or higher with assistance.
• Participate in mandatory in-service training throughout the season.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Cash handling skills a plus.
• Must be able to successfully complete the ServSafe Alcohol Certification course.
